Not an SEOCOntest2008 post because this entry was already placed by google on that last page. But it is all about the test version of Wordpress 2.5 RC2.

I am installing this version on one of my blog that is not yet indexed by google (and blocking it for now), to test the features and admin panel. Seems like an interesting improvement on the previous versions.

And also working on my the theme that I am using not a theme from this blog. Will update more once I found a bug on this version.

Few more days to go on SEOContest2008 and hoping one Filipino once again rule the SEO world. I am not hoping anymore for the win (actually I am) but google don’t like me to win. He gives me a penalty. Well he said ” hey iseocontest2008.com, I don’t want you to win, I will place your site on -300 penalty”.

Well, okay, let me just be a competitor and nothing else but wait how can you be considered a competitor if you are not ranking? “Great!” “Okay, I just watch the end of the contest”.

I have just read this tips from google webmaster central blog, I thought I should also post it here for my visitors to be aware. This is not about SEOContest2008 but on site information as a whole.

Got stuck on the Google Sandbox now so I dont think this blog will still rank on its primary keyword as a contest entry to seocontest2008. I have check all DC of Google and this site is no where to be found for the “seocontest2008″ keyword but still indexed.

Benjie, is currently leading on the contest and going strong with its links coming from CSS and design website having a good Page Rank values. The link bait behind design. Great work Benjie. and Goodluck till the end of the contest.

Have chosen defensio over akismet for spam protection and so far it has achieved a 99.94% of accuracy in depending spam comments on the blog.

Looking good so far in depending spam comments. And those scrappers blog trying to duplicate the entries are being caught too but unfortunately even if was caught you cannot stop those blogs.
