We are approaching the last month for seocontest2008 and so far this blog is at the second page without the parameter of 100 result per page. One of the Filipino is the current #2 now, and hopefully at the last hour he will be at the top of it and once again he will dominate the competition.

Just set this post at a later date to update this blog on the recent happenings on seocontest2008. We are now showing around 200K results on search engine with only a close to 100 participating in the contest.

So far we are still down on the second page if you set the advance search to 10 results per page. It is seems that the domain for uk.com is hitting the #1. Good domain since there is an existing uk.com site, only maybe google just thinking that the entry is a subdomain of uk.com, no proof but let us see if you can still stand at the last leg.

Well, we will be going to rest for few days on this seocontest2008 to have some vacation with my wife and daughter.  This will be a good opportunity for the family to go together since I was caught up with too much work on my day job.

So what you will do? When the cat is away the mouse will play. Lol.

By the way, I saw some contest entries doing some method that is not allowed based on the contest rules. Play fair mate.

I have just accessed my entry to seocontest2008 yesterday but it seems I cannot access it. Just today, I finally access to the admin panel and still looking for the problem on why my site is down where other site hosted on the server are up and running.

Trying to check the ranking on seocontest2008 on google and found one blogger account showing that it has violated the Blogger’s terms service. Is blogger banning seo sites also like wordpress? Or just blogs inclined on seo contest using blogger as an entry? See screen shot below.

Or maybe the author of this blog entry have done something wrong that in no way related to seo? Thoughts?

It seems google again changed it’s datacenter to show the results on seocontest2008. We have experienced page 1 at least on the contest keyword. But that is okay, still have time to compete for this 1k$.

Just for an update, it seems google is finally finding our site. So it might be time to head on the first place for seocontest2008.

Officially Yahoo rejects Microsoft bid of 44.6 billion dollars of its shares. Yahoo saw the offer of 31$ per share to be undervalued according to news.

Another news was the plan to talk about Yahoo AOL merger. Well if they don’t like Microsoft, they are going to AOL.

We are still down on seocontest2008.

It seems google now is mad on those seo contest being held on the net including my site who participates on seocontest2008. Roughly this domain was on the third page of google search and suddenly gone to nowhere and not worth to mention ranking.

Good thing is seocontest2008 is just beginning from 2 months of contest optimization. I wonder what will be the effect of the sudden increase of back links on the organizers site.

My entry to seocontest2008 was down for 2 days due to some server issues. What I have done is to call my host and within few minutes my site is up again. I thought the site was deleted with no reason at all but it just some server misconfiguration.

SO this seocontest2008 blog will be up again to compete. As of now we are down ahead of the rankings. Google hates my site. lol
